Course Description

This course is a comprehensive training course that will guide you, together with experts in the field, to discover all the fundamental aspects of cannabis or hemp cultivation. Designed for aspiring cultivation assistants and cultivation professionals, it provides in-depth knowledge about plant and cultivation management techniques.

Through a scientific approach, participants will learn how to plan and manage a crop efficiently, from variety selection to soil management, from lighting and air ventilation to harvest and post-harvest.

The course is conducted live online with weekly meetings. For those unable to attend, each class will be recorded and made available for viewing on subsequent days.

Class times (subject to change): Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:00 CET.

The total duration of the course is 23 hours of expert training. At the end of each class, you will be given a test to check the skills you have acquired.

• Introduction to the plant: botanical characteristics and nutritional physiology with Dr. Samuele Paganelli
• Overview of cultivation stages, from seed to flowering, characteristics and needs of each stage with Dr. Samuele Paganelli
• Growing methods compared: Hydroponics, coconut substrate, soil and rockwool with Delta Botanic
• Growing environments compared: Indoor, Outdoor, Greenhouse (greenhouse) with Delta Botanic
• Cultivation management: Parameters (Temperature, humidity, ventilation…) Instrumentation, Calendar and chrono-programs with Dr. Samuele Paganelli
• Seeds: Characteristics, selection and quality for optimal cultivation
• Cuts – Cloning techniques for propagating mother plants with the creator of Living Soil Supreme
• Mineral vs. organic fertilization – Solid vs. liquid fertilization with Francis from Advanced Nutrients
• Deficiencies and excesses in fertilization with Delta Botanic
• Living soil: Root ecosystem and its optimization, Soil microbiology and Substrate regeneration techniques

  – Moisture management and drainage
  – Make your own Living soil: how to prepare it, ingredients and how to adapt it to varieties with the creator of Living Soil Supreme
  
• Cultivation threats: Pests, viruses and viroids – Plant defense vs. organic defense with Alessio from Pure NZ
• Safe set-up: best practices for a safe growing environment
• Pruning – Techniques to optimize plant growth and yield with Alessio of Pure NZ
• Lighting and ventilation – Management of light, airflow and CO₂.
• Harvest and post-harvest. Harvesting, trimming, drying and storage techniques. with Alessio from Pure NZ

To enrich the training and make it more interactive, at the end of the session on living soil, each participant will receive a free kit curated by Living Soil Supreme. At the end of the course, we will issue a certificate of participation.
