We are seeking a Cultivation Manager with more than 4 years of experience managing indoor and greenhouse canopies.

Our client, located in Portugal, holds a license for the production of medical cannabis and is expanding their dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent people management skills and be well-versed in automated systems. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily cultivation activities and optimizing workflows and procedures to enhance yields, efficiency, and overall performance. Additionally, they will manage a team of over 10 people, making strong leadership abilities and previous experience in a similar role within multicultural environments essential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in plant sciences and/or related agricultural disciplines preferred
• 4+ years of proven experience as a cultivator in a large-scale indoor cannabis operation
• Experience with automated systems (e.g., Priva, Growlink, etc.)
• Experience with mixed light growing
• Strong people management skills
• Ability to track and report
• Ability to develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Availability from September
• Fluent in English
