Advanced Nutrients produces among the premium fertilizers and stimulators of flowering and growth especially for autoflowering plants of hemp, cuttings from cloning or other regular. About the role

The Field Sales Rep plays a key role as the representative of Advanced Nutrients to the retailers and distributors in their assigned territory. Their ability to build rapport and create mutually beneficial relationships between customers and Advanced Nutrients makes them valuable members of the team. This position is designed as a remote-first position, requiring extensive regional travel, including driving to multiple shops in the local territory to build awareness and grow Advanced Nutrient sales.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Meeting and exceeding assigned sales goals in their assigned territory. Goals and sales progress to be reviewed weekly with Regional Manager, the EU Head of Sales, and/or the VP of Global Sales.
Actively pursuing new accounts in the gardening, hydroponics, or consumer goods sectors.
Pursuing, identifying, and developing leads and opportunities among commercial cultivators and licensed producers.
Working with Account Manager on all requirements related to setting up and starting new accounts, including follow up communication with customer.
Working with Account Manager to Review, address and resolve any outstanding client AR issues.
Building business through extreme client focus. Visits all clients, in person, on a regular, rotating basis during normal business hours. Weekends may occasionally be required, particularly during summertime.
Showing respect and treating clients as long-term partners working to grow both parties’ businesses.
Identifying and communicating sales opportunities in assigned region via CRM and weekly update meetings, and providing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
Supporting the expansion of business in assigned region as needed.
Developing a mastery of Advanced Nutrients products, gaining knowledge and the ability to apply it to answer customer questions and provide solutions.
Entering all activities in CRM at least daily, including scheduling new meetings, logging visit and call notes, and scheduling follow-up tasks.
Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following features:

Practical experience and understanding of sales processes and dynamics
Competent with Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Outlook and Power point
Experience using productivity tools (i.e. E-mail, calendar, CRM, video-conferencing, etc.) as part of daily workflow
Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English (as well as the primary language for the local market indicated for this position)
Ability to adapt and quickly build rapport with clients and consumers
Capable of giving sales presentations
Excellent active listening skills
Adaptive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience working remotely and independently
High level of personal organization
Ability to remain motivated and focused in a 100% remote environment
Comfortable with change & adaptation to new systems & workflow
Capable of extensive local and regional travel, upwards of 150 miles per day
Productive in a wide range of work environments – home office, customer premises, coffee shops, hotel rooms and business centers, conference and event centers, etc.
Must be proficient with a Smartphone
Must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance and a vehicle
2(+) years sales experience
2(+) years’ experience working in a CRM preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
